Job Title: Operation Manager
Pay: $90,000 - $115,000 /year
About Us:
Clean Image Services is a trusted restoration company located in the picturesque Ellensburg, WA area. We specialize in restoring homes and businesses after disasters. We're seeking a Operations Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our restoration projects.
Position Summary:
- Oversee Operations to ensure timely service delivery, adherence to quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staffing, training, documentation, inventory, equipment, and employee relations.
- Contribute to market leadership through effective recruiting, staff development, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a culture of excellence and inspire peak performance from the team.
- Ensure customer expectations are exceeded in disaster restoration and construction services.
- Working with budgets on a daily basis.
- Developing cost estimates, dealing with resource management (Labor Costs, materials, subcontractors, and other overhead/administrative costs associated with work being performed.)
- Identifying cost saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Communicate fluidly with GM, challenging ideas for team improvement. Achieve or surpass targets for client satisfaction, quality ratings, and cost performance.
- Maintain production capacity through staffing and efficient inventory management. Collaborate with GM to establish strategic goals for Operations.
- Lead hiring, training, development, and discipline of Operations staff. Assist GM in tracking financial and overall performance of individuals, jobs, and departments.
- Manage inventory and oversee equipment maintenance and repairs. Implement new technology for service delivery. Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
Decision Rights and Authority:
- Hiring and discharge of operations personnel. Development of strategic goals related to operations (with GM). Purchases within the budget established in the strategic plan.
- Determine criteria and performance levels for subcontractor selection.
Working Relationships:
- Coordinate equipment and vehicle purchases with GM. Maintain effective communication with Sales and Marketing to align capabilities with strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with industry contacts.
Performance Competencies:
- Integrity, effective communication, team building, planning and organizing, excellence, coaching, adaptability, dependability, safety awareness, and technological proficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experienced and versed in industry platforms such as Xactimate, DASH, MICA, etc is preferred, not required.
- IICRC certifications are preferred, however they are not required.
- High school diploma (or GED) with 5-7 years of related experience, including 5 years managing other managers.
- Broad business experience across Sales, Operations, Admin, Accounting, and HR. Proficiency in financial reports, constructive confrontation, strategic thinking, and basic math skills.
- Computer proficiency, especially in MS Office, Word, and Excel.
Physical Demands:
- Regular sitting, use of hands, reaching, talking, and hearing.
- Frequent standing and walking. Lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds frequently.
Working Conditions:
- Varied duties, including site assessments, customer meetings, project reviews, and inspections.
- Exposure to different environments, including water and sewage, fire damage, and organic growth. Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
