Operations Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a focus on process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all aspects of plant operations, including production, production control, maintenance, safety, and shipping and receiving.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives and new product development.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Recruit, develop, and supervise a team of plant employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste.
• Monitor staffing requirements and adjust headcount as needed.
• Develop and manage capacity plans to meet the projected forecast for the near and long-term needs.
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of plant operations, including assembly processes and quality control procedures.
• Mechanical knowledge to understand the functioning of plant equipment.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proven track record in process improvement initiatives.
• Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Familiarity with business and financial principles.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Ten 10 years of progressive operational experience (5 years in a supervisory role).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
