A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OPERATIONS MANAGER

As an Operations Manager at Kinzler, you lead and guide your insulation crew members to be successful in their individual roles. To ensure that your team can work efficiently, you coordinate with the office staff, crew members, and tradesman as well as organize the warehouse operations and productions schedules. You meet your crews in the warehouse at the beginning of the day to answer questions and make sure that they have everything they need for their insulation jobs. With attention to detail, you check the inventory for needed materials and ensure it is organized.

Using your superb organizational skills, you schedule vehicle maintenance, review the payroll, create work orders, and research upcoming projects for needed materials as well as assign assets and crews to projects. You are committed to ensuring quality work is done for each project by conducting 90-day conversations, training your crew members, overseeing quality, and performing safety inspections. You enjoy mentoring your team and helping them develop their skills, and you feel great about contributing to our success!

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Being bilingual is preferred.
• Five years of construction or industry experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Will be required to interact with company personnel at all levels, vendors, and customers.
• Basic computer skills required, use of Excel, Word and MS Office preferred.
• Ability to make independent decisions, take action and manage simultaneous tasks.
