Due to an upcoming retirement, we are accepting applications for an Operations Manager to lead our Longview Division.
OVERVIEW * :
The Operations Manager is responsible for the local direction of Divisional personnel and operations. 30 - 50% of responsibilities are fulfilling duties as a Project Manager preparing cost estimates and proposals for asphalt paving construction jobs for private customers and public entities.Works with Regional Manager to review/understand financial statements. Promotes exceptional customer service and integrity in dealings with co-workers, employees, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and the general public. Promotes and participates in local events establishing and maintaining Lakeside's position as an integral part of the community. Manages and mentors Division employees. Works closely with contractors, state and local municipalities, inspectors, and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent is preferred
- or an equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience
- Seven (7) + years' experience in heavy highway construction, asphalt paving experience preferred
- Must have a firm understanding of hot mix asphalt mixes and applications as well as knowledge of surface treatments
- Proficient with MS Office suite of applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), project scheduling, estimating, and otherindustry specific software
- Possess a track record of progressively responsible positions in a dynamic team environment
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and driving record review
- Must be able to travel locally

WAGE & BENEFIT INFORMATON:
The full salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000. People entering this job typically start between $110,000 to $135,000, depending on direct professional experience, education, qualifications, and geographic location.
