SalaryOur client, a leading manufacturer in Linden, NJ is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team. The Operations Manager will be directly responsible for the overall execution of business operations on a day-to-day basis and for consistent process improvement in order to enhance business operations. In doing so, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Supervision and management of order quoting and order processing functions
- Approval of orders for production from an equipment, pricing and logistics standpoint
- To investigate and find solutions to all order and order processing issues
- Evaluation of day to day business operations in order to implement new processes with the goal of enhancing business operations
- Management of our website
- Management of internal databases
- Management of relationships and agreements with external partners and vendors
- Creation of various spreadsheet and marketing material
- Basic IT setup/Basic IT problem solving
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or equivalent position
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Excellent knowledge of international trade and shipping logistics
- Proven track record for nurturing talent
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer/Technical Skills are a plus
The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000.00 - $90,000.00. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
