Position Overview:

As the Operations Manager, you will be a key leader responsible for managing and enhancing the overall efficiency of our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in operations management, a deep understanding of PCB manufacturing, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Operations Strategy:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for manufacturing operations in alignment with organizational goals.

- Optimize processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall production capabilities.

2. Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a diverse team of production, logistics, and maintenance personnel.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the operations team.

3. Production Planning and Scheduling:

- Oversee production planning and scheduling to ensure optimal utilization of resources and timely delivery of products.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with demand forecasts.

4. Quality Assurance:

- Work closely with the quality control team to establish and maintain rigorous quality standards in manufacturing processes.

- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

5. Inventory Management:

- Manage inventory levels, including raw materials and finished goods, to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

- Implement inventory control measures to optimize working capital.

6. Cost Control and Budget Management:

- Implement cost control measures to optimize operational expenses and improve overall cost efficiency.

- Collaborate with finance to develop and manage operational budgets.

7. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.

- Utilize data analysis and feedback to implement efficiency improvements.

8. Health and Safety Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

- Conduct regular safety audits and training programs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in operations management within the PCB manufacturing industry.

- In-depth knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry standards.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.

- Knowledge of inventory management best practices.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
