As an Operations Detail Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the inspection and verification of all required information and processes related to the management of critical documents, orders, letters, reports, etc., according to credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
Who You Are:
  1. Professional, well-developed written and oral communication skills. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence using proper grammar.
  2. Ability to read and interpret documents such as loan documents, rules and regulations regarding collections and policies/procedures.
  3. Basic mathematical requirements required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.).
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a requirement.
  5. Effective and considerate communication and interpersonal skills to work cooperatively and professionally with outside parties, members, and co-workers.
  6. Ability to organize and prioritize meeting numerous deadlines with strong time management.

What You'll Do:
  1. Verifies account information is complete and accurate for all compliance requirements, including but not limited to: BSA, MIP, Red Flag, and any other aspect specific to this process.
  2. Responsible for reporting and monitoring all errors and missing data and working with individuals in other departments or branches to ensure that all errors and necessary corrective measures are completed on a timely basis.
  3. Assures credit union documents have been filled out properly; compares transaction signatures to signature card on an ongoing basis, and updates signature card files, as necessary.
  4. Assists with processing daily reports, including but not limited to closed accounts, new accounts, negative shares, account maintenance, and any other such report that falls within the department.
  5. Reports to appropriate credit union official if unusual, fraudulent, or suspicious account activity is observed.

Education and Qualifications:
  1. One year or more experience required in a financial institution, lending environment or customer service position.
  2. High school diploma or G.E.D.
  3. Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job required.
