General Overview:
PTG, an IT Managed Service Provider (“MSP”), is seeking an Operations Associate to support the various operations initiatives of the Company. As the Operations Associate, you will provide analytical-based findings to the executive team to better guide value creation initiatives such as revenue, profitability, and overall company maturity growth. Reporting directly to the COO, you will be responsible for delivering analytical-based findings to help prioritize key initiatives and explain underlying trends in the business, supporting operating diligence for new investment opportunities, and preparing the quarterly board presentation for our investor group. This role will have direct line of sight into the strategy and operations execution of a fast-growing, Private Equity-backed company. Responsibilities:
Operational Analytics: Conduct complex data analyses from multiple sources to identify underlying profitability trends to support operating initiatives. Examples include product level profitability tracking, customer growth analyses, new product launch modeling, employee retention, etc. Courser has significant opportunity to grow its revenue and profitability – the Operations Associate will be essential in helping plan and execute these plans by providing data-driven discipline.
Strategy Development: Assist the executive team in maintaining and tracking its quarterly, annual, and multi-year strategic plan. Courser has developed a discipline in tracking and executing goals that cover the Company value-creation needs – the Operations Associate will guide this strategy and ensure the Company stays on track.
Operations Planning: Support and build initiative plans that define key stakeholders and team members, deliverables, milestones, action plans, and success. Courser believes that every initiative requires a rock-solid plan – the Operations Associate will partner with the COO to develop these plans.
Strategy Deliverables and Reporting: Work with the executive team members across Operations/Integration, M&A, Sales, HR, and Finance to prepare deliverables for key meetings and summits, such as the quarterly board meeting, bi-annual company check-in meetings, company all-hands meetings, etc. The Courser executive team is highly collaborative and delivers content to our key stakeholders to move the Company forward – the Operations Associate will play a lead role in preparing these presentations.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working in an analyst role; experience in
Investment Banking or Management Consulting is a plus.
Strong analytical capabilities in excel; experience in PowerBI is a plus.
Strong technical understanding of financial modeling.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex
information and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse
stakeholders, including Sales, M&A, Operations/Integration, HR and Finance.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex
ideas through concise presentations and memos.
Proactive and self-driven, with a desire to gain greater experience in Operations.
