Seeking an Operations Analyst - Reconciliations to remotely support our banking client in Santa Clara, CA.
Requirements:
The Contractor will perform daily and monthly reconciliations for any of the following using Blackline reconciliation software: Cash/Bank, Deposit, Loan, FX, Card, Suspense, and Clearing accounts.
- May prepare journal entries during the month and during the month-end close.
- Communicate open breaks timely and accurately to Business Partners according to established SLAs.
- Ability to identify trends and process gaps in order to recommend solutions to mitigate risk.
- Act as backup and support to the team member serving as SME for the Reconciliation Team on the ISO20022 project, but may also need to support other team members.
- Role may include validation of ISO20022 test scenarios.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3+ years of reconciling experience in a financial institution, including month-end activities
- Bank Reconciliation experience required
- FX experience preferred
- ISO20022 knowledge ideal but not required
- Blackline reconciliation application experience is a plus
- Accounting knowledge including recording journal entries and understanding of financial impacts
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Communicates with poise and professionalism through verbal and written communication
- Executes tasks efficiently and quickly with strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Ability to prioritize deliverables and assignments
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
