Operations Analyst

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for collaborating with business and technology teams to collect and analyze data across the business, create reports based on their findings, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine success of business operations and to help business leaders make informed decisions. Responsible for collaborating with Operations teams to plan, design, develop and deploy new technology and reporting solutions while maintaining and enhancing existing systems for Operations. This includes gathering and analyzing data, process flows and business requirements in support of business cases and proposed projects and working closely with management and staff across Operations in all Lions World Vision Institute locations to maximize use of resources and technology solutions. Opportunity to assess, define and deploy new strategies and approaches.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Interacts with Operations subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand their business priorities, business problems and needs and to identify opportunities for analysis, reporting or automation investment.
• Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
• Creates and maintains documentation of business processes and defines, analyzes and documents business requirements in support of process improvement solutions.
• Supports Manager - Business Insights & Analytics, administers internal and external reporting of Operations data, both ad hoc and recurring.
• Supports Manager - Business Insights & Analytics, to design and deploy reports as requested by internal and external partners.
• Supports manager - Business Insights & Analytics in consolidating business reporting.
• Performs testing of new solutions and updates.
• Supports training of internal staff on technology products and services.
• Administers and supports Operations specific functionality in Salesforce.com (or other CRM), including on-going reporting needs of Partner Relations and Family Services Departments.
• Designs, builds and maintains Sharepoint site for Operations analysis and reporting team.
• Provides support to the Family Services team for family letters and letter audit processes.
• Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
• In all daily activities, strives to support the Mission and Values of Lions World Vision Institute.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday. Nights and weekends as needed.

Wage Range for 0-2 years experience within these states:
For New York, and Western Washington State, the range is $23.48 - 25.41
For Colorado and Eastern Washington State, the range is $21.13 - 22.86

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Advanced skills with Windows operating system, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook), and database programs.
• Advanced Skills with Excel – Required Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and Indexing Formulas, PowerPivot experience. SQL experience a plus.
• Demonstrates a strong learning mindset. Willing to try new things, fail and learn.
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations and to be nimble as business needs evolve.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on complete and accurate work.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to interact effectively with all Lions World Vision Institute staff.

Education and/or Equivalent Experience:

• Bachelors in related field preferred
