POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing and Operations Admin will be responsible for oversight and implementation of multiple facets as they relate to the marketing and operations departments. This position will directly oversee the Patient Access Center, which manages incoming calls and appointment requests. They will implement social media strategy and content in line with the University of Toledo Marketing standards. This position is also responsible for executing effective provider onboarding processes for UTP/UTMC providers, including locum tenens and affiliated providers to ensure provider satisfaction and compliance. The person in this role will work to identify opportunities for community engagement and represent the University of Toledo Physicians Group at events.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee patient experience and Press Ganey by assembling a team of service excellence ambassadors for the organization.
- Craft engaging content and graphics for social media accounts and identify opportunities for growth by using analytical tools.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries and comments on various social media platforms.
- Continuously review internal websites and keep up to date.
- Collaborate with all members of the organization to ensure a comprehensive approach to provider marketing.
- Create and distribute marketing collateral while adhering to brand standards and tone.
- Serves as liaison between UTP/UTMC provider relations department and University of Toledo Marketing and Communications Team. Attend regularly scheduled meetings to track project progress.
- Manage external provider resources such as Healthgrades and Google.
- Assist with miscellaneous website maintenance.
- Collaborates inter-departmentally during the provider onboarding process to ensure thorough and complete onboarding is completed.
- Plan, execute, and organize internal and external events.
- Oversee patient access center and internship program.
- Coordinate flu vaccine clinics and manage portals.
- All other duties as assigned by the manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: bachelor’s degree
Minimum experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a marketing and/or social media and/or outreach-related field.
Skills: Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak before groups of people.
- Strong organizational and task management skills.
- Ability to work on various social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Ability to use content development software and programming to provide consistent social media messaging.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, courteous and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle patient and organizational information in a confidential manner.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, current insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to other office/practice sites as well as meeting and training locations.
- Must be flexible and available outside of normal business hours.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Works in a professional office environment with possible high stress levels.
- Occasional after-hours and weekend engagement may be required.
- Travel is required.
- Requires prolonged walking and standing
- Occasional carrying of items weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to work effectively both with internal and external customers in stressful situations.
