This position will provide professional development and insight to the administrative functions needed to support a billion-dollar retail operation. This opportunity will give insight and experience with various operational tools and software, policy and procedure, meaningful project development, and exposure to comprehensive data analytics needed to make critical business decisions. Interns will be responsible for assisting with special projects and tasks across multiple areas in the operations department. These responsibilities will be rotational to give the intern exposure to different facets of the department and to create a more comprehensive understanding of how the different functions work together to create winning strategies. Interns will have regular basis touch bases to ensure a meaningful experience.
Responsibilities:

• Gain experience in data analytics by identifying and gathering necessary data, identifying trends and patterns while picking out signals from the noise.
• Assist in project management by participating and leading the planning and management of a project.
• Draft operational correspondence/documents and assisting in the preparation of needed documents.
• Exposure to the special events function by assisting with the support of banner special events focused on raising event awareness, preparedness and success through increased sales.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Operations leadership team.

• Pursuing undergraduate program in business, retail management or a business-related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 & Minimum of one letter of recommendation from a college professor or manager/executive in the business field.
• Experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of computers and Microsoft suites. Strong oral and written communications skills.

• Fulltime (40 hours/week) Summer Internship.
• Ability to commute to Akron, OH as required.
