Job Description

The best candidate will have strong experience in both White Glove Services, reverse logistics, P&D, problem resolution skills, motivated and personal customer service, and a team first focus in addition to the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Business relationship management building a positive relationship with team members and/or customers to create a mutually beneficial outcome.
- Prior management and/or supervisory experience in a transportation/White Glove Service
- Assist with the execution of negotiating transportation rates or services.
- Knowledge of reverse logistics operations
- Experience with creating or implementing packaging instructions.
- Plan or advise on improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Understand and utilize all standard policies and procedures.
- Self-starter, ability to work independently and troubleshoot.
- Ability to resolve problems and issues with transportation, logistic systems, or customer issues.
- Coordinate comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of relevant White Glove, reverse logistics and/or pickup and delivery services
- Minimum of 2-3 years in supervisory/management experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience in building and managing tariffs.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as freight rates, discounts, and other percentages.
- Strong teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing supply chain functions for electronic industry.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
Computer skills:
- TMS
- WMS (a plus but not required)
- Scanning/Asset Tracking (a plus but not required)
- Microsoft Office suite of products (Intermediate Excel a plus)
This position does require travel to trade shows along with customer, vendor, or jobsite visits.
