Operating Room Scheduler

The scheduler, under the direction of the Orthopedic services management, is responsible for scheduling all procedures for the Orthopedic areas, coordinating equipment requests with physician offices, assisting with monthly reports and performing other duties associated with the Orthopedic scheduling system.

Education:

• Post-high school special training
• Medical assistant or LPN preferred.

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:

• Medical Terminology I & II required.
• Computer and keyboard skills required.
• Scheduling experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
