- Seven Operating Rooms with the most advanced technology in town.
- State-of-the-art imaging allows for patient’s scans to be on large screens above the operating table, so the surgeon never has to leave the surgical field
- Convenient, separate entrance on the west side of the hospital with parking right in front (entrance D)
- Private pre-and post-recovery rooms with plenty of room for family
- Two brand new endoscopy rooms and a sterile processing department
- Expert surgical team with decades of experience

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care during surgical procedures.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing surgery.
- Assist the surgical team in various procedures by providing instruments, supplies, and necessary equipment.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the Operating Room.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia, and overall well-being during surgery.
- Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative care instructions.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.
Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska (or eligible for licensure).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications through American Heart Association after 5 months.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and sterile techniques.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care with compassion and empathy.
Pay Range
$33.50 - $48.58 /hour
