You also have to have a strong stomach for the less glamorous parts of being an infant caregiver - wiping the runny noses, cleaning spit up, changing diapers, etc. It is also a major bonus if you're comfortable talking about different bodily functions!
Some of the other responsibilities of being an infant caregiver in our facility include:
- MUST LOVE KIDS!!!!
- MULTI-TASKING IS A MUST!
- The ability to recognize infant cues and meet the babies' emotional and physical needs.
- Able to maintain each child's individual schedule for feedings, naps and diaper changes.
- Change diapers every two hours or sooner if needed.
- Recognize infant developmental milestones and work toward progress in each area.
- Ability to update our app (Brightwheel) to keep parents informed on their child throughout the day.
- Maintain a safe and clean facility.
If you feel you meet these requirements, are willing to go the extra mile for the next generation, and have a GENUINElove for children, feel free to hit the "Apply Now" button! By applying for our Opening Infant Teacher and Caregiver position, prepare yourself to laugh, love, and learn more about children - AND YOURSELF - than you ever have before.
If you are ready to join a winning team where we're all a family who laugh, have fun, and kick the drama OUT THE DOOR, please come see us! We sincerely can't wait to meet you.
- Negativity, gossip, and whining are frowned upon in the establishment
- KIDS NEED CONSISTENCY - If you have ANY issues with showing up consistently for the little ones in your care, this is NOT the job for you
