Job Summary
- The Creative Asset Management Specialist will be part of the Creative Element Asset team on-site with our fortune 500 client. The specialist will be responsible for managing, processing and troubleshooting all Creative Asset related requests such as documents, images, and video to ensure the integrity, consistency and accuracy of the repository is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Improve and apply archival and metadata standards within the Digital Asset Management tools.
- Provide quality control for all metadata added to the system to assure accuracy and consistency across the company. This includes applying controlled metadata, tags and following defined processes.
- Work closely with the Digital Commerce Literature focal point to understand and follow all changes to the literature systems, processes and workflows defined by the DC team
- Work with business focal points to ensure images within the library are current and approved
- Create or rebrand Technical Data Sheets (TDS) until an automated system is developed
- Consolidate and manage form number series ownership and act as the focal point to assign form numbers
- Load all assets and related collateral to the appropriate asset management system(s) (AEM, DiamondTV, Dow Photo Library
- Create other literature related assets that do not require design work as requested (EX: Letters)
- Work with business focal points to ensure literature assets are submitted correctly for loading into AEM (and other systems as defined)
- Provide technical support and basic troubleshooting assistance for questions relating to literature, photo and other asset processing
- Provides functional support for users with technical support from vendors including problem solving, document uploads, image submission and search capabilities.
- Create and manage new e-Letterhead templates
- Assist with Dow Photo Library key wording, tagging, and loading
- Act as back-up support for Creative Asset Management team members
- Provide monthly reports
- Create and improve archival and metadata standards within the Literature and Digital Asset Management Tools.
- Organize and track image licenses, rights and regulations. Investigate and implement internal services around tracking image information and usage in projects.
- Apply Metadata to images using DAM system software
- Manage images using DAM system
- Handle internal/external vendor requests for images
- Create and troubleshooting new user accounts
- Provide DAM software training for new users
- Help manage client Business Card and Letterhead services offered
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to be self-directed, must be detail oriented, great interpersonal skills, project management and organizational skills
Education and/or Experience
- 2-4 years' experience in Library Science or Digital Asset Management, a plus.
- Previous experience with AEM or other content management system, a plus.
