Responsible for performing general maintenance of buildings and grounds at HOA residential communities, under direction of the Maintenance Director.
Duties include:
- Perform preventative minor maintenance and routine maintenance.
- Ensure completion of work orders using work order system.
- General maintenance, janitorial and grounds work throughout the Community.
- Periodic inspections of grounds, common area buildings and structures.
- Assist Vendors
- Understanding of Irrigation, Carpentry, Fencing, Cleaning, Gutters, Locks, and Painting
- Plus other work related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of maintenance / porter experience preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Required to pass background, drug screening and reference checks
- Must be able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual a plus.
- Must be a proficient problem-solver.
- Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment or the public in general.
- Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance is a plus, but not necessary.
Pay and Benefits:
$26.00 to $28.00 hour, depending on education and experience.
