Onsite- Lead SDET / Automation Engineer
Location- Hybrid Role- Fortmill SC, Charlotte NC, Austin TX
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.
• 8-10 years of development and/or test automation experience. Experience in network programming and/or developing/designing large software systems.
• Excellent programming skills in JAVA / JavaScript
• Writing, Enhancing and Executing automated scripts for test cases using Selenium WebDriver
• Data Automation, Webservice Automation (ReadyAPI / SOAPUI).
• Object Identification using XPath or other object locators.
• Unit Test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG and build tool like Maven.
• BDD Automation using Cucumber.
• Version control tool like SVN/GitHub. Experience in CI tool like Jenkins/Bamboo.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Write UI and API automation scripts to debug and fix the scripts if there are any issues.
• Analyze the user stories and develop Automation Test scripts using Selenium BDD Cucumber
• Dry run / complete/implement, the developed automation scripts
• Make modifications to automation frameworks as needed
• Responsible for providing technical support in automation scripting of other team members, review automation scripts and make sure it is industry standards
• Maintain the existing test automation framework and suites of automated test cases
• Collaborates with the QA Manager to plan, implement and make sure the strategic road map for automated testing services
• Assists with the estimation, prioritization, planning and coordination of testing activities
• Mentors and cross-trains QA staff onsite and offshore in the execution and support of unique testing services
• Stays up-to-date on new testing tools and test strategies
• Other duties as assigned

Must have Skills:

• Java programming.
• Test script/test library creation.
• Rally or Atlassian suite or Quality Center.
• Soap UI or Ready API Automation.
• Selenium WebDriver / Mocha.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $105,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
