Job Description
Our client is looking for an Audio Visual Technician in Basking Ridge, NJ.
Program will provide client with onsite technicians to perform support for conference room audio/visual equipment at specified sites.
Key activities include:
* Perform periodic inspection of conference rooms to ensure equipment is functional and required accessories (e.g. cables, connectors, etc.) are available. Client will define inspection frequencies based on number of conference rooms and available capacity for each location;
* Monitor ServiceNow ticket queues established for capturing AV requests and issues;
* Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of A/V devices (subject to device warranty restrictions);
* Communicate with Client facility management and device OEMs as required;
* Perform onsite escorts for OEM and 3rd party support vendors;
* Perform A/V and conferencing software set-up support prior to scheduled meetings;
* Provide user support during meetings;
* Log work activity via Client ServiceNow ITSM;
* Provide monthly reports including a summary of known conference room issues and recommendations to improve maintenance processes and conference room performance.
* Support monthly user training sessions;
* Maintain documentation and training materials for all AV rooms covered in this agreement;
* Assist with new equipment installation and configuration as appropriate . Equipment installation will be performed by 3rd party support vendors;
* Initiate OEM and 3rd party support tickets as needed and coordinate troubleshooting and support to address these issues;
* Where appropriate and approved by client, replace equipment sent by OEM where a component is determined to be defective and requiring a simple swap to resolve the situation;
* Develop support processes and maintenance checklists in conjunction with the client IT group, real estate and property management teams;
* Capture and maintain equipment inventory data;
* Coordinate activities with client LAN/Campus team responsible for AV.
