Responsibilities

The Yosemite Lakes Owners Association (YLOA) Aerobic Inspector's key responsibility is to check the aerobic systems for the association's water supply daily, but a monthly rotation and report those findings to the association and state agencies, in concert with the Yosemite Springs Park Utility Company (YSPUC) meter reading and well management team.

 

Job Duties:

• Inspect the septic aerobic systems
• Maintain communication with YLOA Office regarding misread meters and other issues that arise
• Report any unusual changes to the meter, meter usage, septic systems, and newly vacated or occupied premises
• Must be able to maintain communication and answer questions with homeowners on occasions
• Create and maintain records of inspections for association record keeping and reporting to state agencies
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent  qualification
• Must be physically  capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays and evenings when necessary
• Basic knowledge of use of small tools/shovels
• Must have a clean driving record and maintain a Class C driver's license issued with CA Department of motor vehicles
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly with both written and verbal communications
• Have the ability to read, write and communicate in the English language when corresponding with job duties

Physical Demands:

• Meet the health and physical condition standard necessary for the position, including the ability to stand and kneel for periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs,  stoop, bend over, walk treacherous terrain, digging and sitting
• Must be able to work in sometimes extreme weather conditions (hot/cold temperatures, rain)
• Have 20/20 vision and good hearing (with correction)

Pay and Benefits:

$20.00   to $23.00, depending on education and experience.
