The Online Parts Sales Associate is responsible for inventory, marketing, processing online orders, executing online orders, payments, fulfillment, or customer care, including providing product information and ensuring customer satisfaction for Martin Dealer Customer Portal, shop.deere.com, John Deere Buy Online, eBay, and TractorHouse.
Essential Functions
- Inventories select parts at a centralized location for efficient Online Parts operations.
- Market (including pictures, accurate descriptions, and pricing) select parts on secondary marketplaces such as eBay or Facebook Marketplace.
- Timely processing of online orders while ensuring accuracy of orders.
- Communicate with other Martin Tractor branches when dealing with local customers in a timely and effective manner.
- Communicate with dedicated branch to fulfill agricultural online orders outside the Martin Tractor trade area.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone calls, emails and other apps.
- Document and update customer records based on interactions.
- Communicate with customers to guarantee satisfaction and receive feedback.
- Prepare and submit reports to track daily, weekly and monthly metrics as assigned.
- Miscellaneous administrative and custodial tasks
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience connecting with customers, maintaining a professional image and establishing rapport.
- Demonstrated basic understanding of the online selling processes.
- Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications.
- Experience working both independently and, in a team setting.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
