Education and Experience
Master’s degree required with a preference for a liberal arts education in politics, literature, and history. Teaching experience is preferred.

The Online Learning Content Fellow works in the Department of External Affairs and is responsible for improving Hillsdale College’s online teaching efforts by editing and developing curricula for our free online courses, providing administrative support for our free and for-credit online courses, and working on special projects aimed at expanding our audience and deepening the learning of our online students.
Responsibilities: - Assist with the review and editing of online course videos.
- Draft and edit online course learning materials.
- Respond to content questions and discussion posts submitted by online course students.
- Help maintain the CMS and hosting sites for free course assets.
- Aid the Director of Online Learning Marketing with marketing efforts and content suggestions.
- Draft blog posts for the Online Learning blog.
- Test new technology developments by following user scripts.
- Provide administrative support for the for-credit offerings, including managing the LMS, assisting with the businesses processes of the program, and executing key tasks to improve the delivery, technology, and experience of these courses.
- Work on additional projects and initiatives as needed to improve the Online Learning program.
