Job description

The OneStopPGH Operations Performance Analyst will serve as a data steward for the Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections to meet the City's data governance laws, and demand for data. They will provide system performance support and operational improvements for the City's permitting and licensing system, OneStopPGH.

Salary: $66,179 per year.

Qualifying Requirements:


Your City of Pittsburgh application will be reviewed and your work experience and education/training will be evaluated to determine if you meet the qualifying eligibility requirements listed below for this position. You will be sent an eligibility letter regarding your eligible/ineligible status.


WORK EXPERIENCE: The application must clearly show one (1) year of full-time experience in Asset Management, Information Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. (Full-time is defined as 32 hours or more per week. Less than full-time experience will be calculated on a pro-rated basis.)


EDUCATION/TRAINING: The application must clearly show a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field. (See NOTE under the General Application Requirements Section above regarding the verification of education/training.)


EQUIVALENCY: Education/training and/or work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis if the application clearly shows the required number of years to meet the Total Qualifying Requirement for this position (based on the sum of work experience and education/training listed above). The Total Qualifying Requirement is five (5) years.

  • Performs maintenance and administrative updates within the enterprise licensing and permitting software as dictated by the OneStopPGH system operations manage

  • Updates configuration for OneStopPGH using existing software tools, SQL database statements, Python automation scripting, and other third part administrative tools.

  • Provides analysis on systematic improvements to OneStopPGH

  • Organizes and leads permit software training for staff and customers

  • Analyzes and produces reports towards systems and policy recommendations that advance OneStopPGH's system operations manager.

  • Manage department datasets, charts, maps and other assets published on the City's data portals, either directly or through coordination with the City's data stewards. Ensure that published assets are timely and accurate through regular monitoring.

  • Works with department leadership to identify reoccurring, automated reports, performance management tools, data visualization, and post-implementation support.

  • Run reports, identify/intakeuser issues, and resolve for optimal system performance.

  • Develop strong internal partnerships with all OneStopPGH agencies.

  • Support external and internal users with guidance on system operations

  • Perform other related tasks and duties that are assigned or required
