Job Summary

• The Onboarding Coordinator is accountable for coordinating hiring/on-boarding for Avera LTC facilities and works closely with applicants, Neighborhoods and Avera Sacred Heart Human Resources to ensure a seamless process with employee placement and retention. Supervises Administrative Assistants for the facility.
• Supports the hospital's goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
• Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate’s Degree is preferred.

• Two years’ of a healthcare setting experience is preferred.
• 0-6 months of experience is required.
• 1-2 years of experience is preferred

License/Certification/Registration

• Certified Nurse Assistant within 1 year of employment

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Occasional weekend
  • Occasional holiday
  • Occasional call time (On call every 10th weekend)

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $19.25 - $24.25 per hour
