Job Summary
- The Onboarding Coordinator is accountable for coordinating hiring/on-boarding for Avera LTC facilities and works closely with applicants, Neighborhoods and Avera Sacred Heart Human Resources to ensure a seamless process with employee placement and retention. Supervises Administrative Assistants for the facility.
- Supports the hospital's goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
- Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
Education and/or Experience
- Associate’s Degree is preferred.
- Two years’ of a healthcare setting experience is preferred.
- 0-6 months of experience is required.
- 1-2 years of experience is preferred
License/Certification/Registration
- Certified Nurse Assistant within 1 year of employment
Work Schedule
- Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Occasional weekend
- Occasional holiday
- Occasional call time (On call every 10th weekend)
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $19.25 - $24.25 per hour
