On-site Technician
Position Overview: We are seeking qualified and experienced On-site Technicians to join our team. The On-site Technicians will play a crucial role in overseeing maintenance and repair activities, ensuring adherence to Traffic Control Plans (TCPs), and managing documentation of site activities. The position requires effective scheduling of materials, equipment, and labor to maintain workflow in accordance with the task at hand. Additionally, the On-site Technicians will be responsible for administering and executing the provisions of the Accident Prevention Plan.
Key Responsibilities: As part of the Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, the On-site Technicians will perform the following activities:
Daily Communication and Briefs:
- Conduct daily communication and briefings with the site Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) personnel.
Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Oversight:
- Provide daily work oversight for any Preventative or Corrective Maintenance scheduled at the site.
- Execute task order Preventative maintenance and approved service order work at assigned sites unless specialty craft or additional technicians are required.
Emergency Response:
- Respond immediately (within 2 hours) to any identified emergencies, including site assessment, repair, and reporting for the assigned site.
Work Schedule and Reporting:
- Maintain a typical 40-hour work week with a physical presence at the assigned site or at other sites within a 50-mile radius.
- Submit daily Quality Control (QC) reports in RMS (QC Tab) summarizing work performed.
- Provide a consolidated weekly On-site Technician report, including:
- General summary of all service orders (SOs) supported, including tasks assigned, dates worked, and SO numbers.
- Summary of non-SO maintenance tasks performed each week.
- Details of any Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) support provided.
- Projected schedule of planned work for the next month.
- General outline of meetings held with QAE or site staff.
- Summary of any days not on site with reasons and approved alternatives.
Absence Notification:
- Notify the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and QAE of planned or unplanned absences lasting one workday or more.
- Provide the name of the alternate/acting On-site Technician for absences exceeding 5 business days.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with Traffic Control Plans and Accident Prevention Plans.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to respond promptly to emergencies.

General maintenance and practical skills with knowledge and experience in plumbing, electrical, painting and drywall repair. Ability to repair lighting ballast, belts, bearings and fixtures 20' high. Good customer service and the ability to track trends to resolve tenant work orders. Troubleshooting and analytical skillset highly needed for this opportunity.
Work hours 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
