Form of workAlpha Media has a part-time On-Air Talent/Board Operator position available in our Jackson, MS market. Duties include on-air work, writing news, and recording ad copy. In other words, all aspects of local broadcasting. Computer skills are a must.
Responsibilities for this position may include:
- On-air work as needed, including weekends.
- Recording & editing ads for commercial clients.
- Facebook & Twitter posting as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements of this position include the following:
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing culture and environment.
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must possess strong computer skills.
Preference may be given to candidates who meet the above requirements plus the following:
- Experience working with WordPress, Facebook, and Twitter.
