Job Description:
Experience with the EPIC EMR system is required. IT experience needed with ambulatory office or hospital outpatient scheduling and registration. Submissions lacking clear competencies in these areas will be closed immediately!
40 hours/week. Hybrid position (NOT 100% remote). Initially, the Consultant will be required to be onsite 24-40 hours/week. After implementation and go-live events, this is expected to drop to about 16 hours/week. The position does have on call responsibilities, but the Consultant would support remotely.
Associates degree in computer science, management or an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience required. Appropriate certifications must be completed and may include Epic or other applications. Candidate must have AT LEAST two years project management experience in systems analysis, system design, computer system project management and/or healthcare application design, build and implementation. Experience with large enterprise system projects and supporting and maintaining large, complex information system software required.
