- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) years administrative experience
- Valid South Carolina driver’s license
The Office Technician will provide administrative support to the Animal Shelter and hands-on help with the care and treatment of the animals and facility as needed. Must demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have effective communications skills, ability to problem solve, and excellent customer service skills. Must be proficient, or demonstrate ability to become proficient, in collecting and accounting for monies. Must have the ability to handle domestic cats and dogs in their care, feeding, intake and daily processing, and other shelter support needs. Must be able to effectively deal with the physical and emotional demands of animal health care. Must have the ability to perform manual work, heavy lifting, and may encounter strong odors.
