Introduction
RIS is seeking an Office Supervisor to lead and manage daily operations of the Pablo Campus Outpatient Center. This position will work closely with Administration and Radiologists to supervise and perform technical procedures in the office. The Office Supervisor establishes and maintains policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency that supports excellent and positive patient experience. This role communicates, plans, leads and inspires staff members while collaborating with RIS leaders and key stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and meet goals and objectives to support the department while contributing the to the effective management of the center.
- Serves as a resource to the office staff with regard to regulations, personnel policies and procedures.
- Assume responsibility for patient flow and all other patient care issues while ensuring both employee and patient safety.
- Communicates changes in philosophy, goals, procedures, plans and activities of the department.
- Perform duties of staff technologist as required. Evaluates the quality of clinical care through observation. Manages the workflow through completion of work assignments.
- Maintains radiologic services in accordance with standards established with the Vice President of Operations, federal, state and locate standards and the ACR. Maintains quality assurance requirements.
- Demonstrates knowledge of institutional regulations regarding patient care, fire and safety, infection control
- Communicate organizational goals to the staff so every employee understands his or her role.
- Ensure that staff follow established policies and best practices.
- Conduct staff performance reviews of direct reports and provide coaching and assistance to supervisors in the performance review process.
- Communicates issues, problems concerns or conditions relative to staff, patients and/or physicians to Administration.
- Maintain equipment and reports problems promptly.
- Other responsibilities to be added / other duties assigned, if necessary, as the role evolves.

Education and Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or completion of a certified Radiologic Technology program
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine preferred
- Clinical training, in radiology, CT, MRI, and/or Nuclear Medicine experience required
- 5+ years’ work experience in a medical setting
- Management/planning skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to identify and track appropriate department metrics and develop dashboards for monitoring performance
- Excellent communication, management, interpersonal and leadership skills required
- Advanced conflict resolution skills required
- Analytical skills to analyze reports, develop Excel spreadsheets and graphs
Required Skills
- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, patients and referring physician offices, and the ability to work independently
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Speak and write in English
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods
- Normal hand eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Clarity of vision at close distances (20 inches or less) and far distances (20ft or more)
