Job Purpose*
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper with previous experience in accounts payable/receivable, Quickbooks Online accounting software, and general administrative support. In addition to bookkeeping responsibilities, the Office Manager/Bookkeeper serves a key role in the business by improving the organization, efficiency, and positive atmosphere of our central office.

Duties and Responsibilities*
Office Management (40%)
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external customers. This position is seated at the front desk of our central office and is responsible for receiving guests to the office.
- Enter detailed state compliance information into various databases.
- Provide general support to office visitors.
- Develop and maintain filing systems.
- Maintain a well-functioning, clean and orderly office environment.
- Procure office supplies and assist personnel with supply needs.
- Prepare orders of internal printed materials for delivery.
- Inventory and coordinate access to keys to the central office and 12 DriveSafe locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Bookkeeping (60%)
- Work with Senior Management to ensure the accuracy of all ongoing financial data for the effective operation of the business.
- Enter, process and reconcile all income statement and balance sheet accounts including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP) and company credit cards in QuickBooks.
- Update QuickBooks general ledger for all AP, AR and payroll transactions and apply appropriate service and product line allocations.
- Complete monthly billing and account reconciliation processes.
- Assist in year-end audit, financial reporting, and annual budget processes.
- Complete special finance and accounting projects, analysis and maintenance of accounting files as needed.

Qualifications*
- 3+ years’ experience in bookkeeping and/or office management, with at least 1+ year bookkeeping experience required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online accounting software
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when managing financial records and sensitive data.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal interpersonal communication and team collaboration experience.
- Organized, trustworthy, detail oriented, and ability to multitask.

Job Details*
This is a salaried, full-time position with working hours beginning 8:30am (or earlier) and ending at 5:30pm (or earlier depending on start time) Monday through Friday based out of our central office location. Additionally, this role is scheduled to complete approximately 30-60 minutes of work on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 8:30am or earlier, and this position may leave work early on Fridays to compensate for time worked on the weekend. The starting salary is between $55,000 and $60,000.
