Office Assistant
Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
- Assist with e-filing and paper filing task for our clients.
- Assist departments by procsesing documentation, communicating with clients and organizing data.
- Provide support to the office staff by organizing files, data entry, and preparing documents
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies and kitchen and bathroom inventory and place orders when necessary
- Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness
Skills:
-Must speak Spanish and English
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience as a personal assistant or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of Tax and accounting office procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with Prosystem Tax, CCH and/or other tax filing software is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
