A1 General Contracting is an established, Quad Cities based business. We specialize in storm restoration work for residential, and commercial properties. Our office is located in Moline, IL. We are seeking an Office Manager with strong accounting skills to join our fast paced office. This position works closely with the production manager and general manager to ensure work performed is invoiced in a timely manner, and followed up on effectively. This is a great opportunity for someone to play a key role in the exciting growth of our company. The successful candidate is a proven self-starter, who can thrive working on their own, or in a collaborative environment. Scheduled shift would be 9-5 Monday - Friday typically. There is an opportunity for occassional overtime, or flexible work hours. This is not a work from home position.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the office calendar, including scheduling appointments and meetings
- Oversee office operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning
- Handle front desk duties such as greeting visitors and answering phone calls
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Create project files, and calculate costs of work.
- Create invoices for completed jobs. Follow up with customers and insurance companies.
- Support human resources functions, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records
- Perform general clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and organizing documents
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in office management software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines
- Experience in invoicing and record keeping
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and practices
- Familiarity with human resources processes and procedures

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
