Office Engineer

Urban Engineers is seeking qualified individuals in New York City to join the Facilities Construction Management Department as an Office Engineer.  This position will be the day-to-day functions of on-going projects at the John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process change orders and material testing reports.
• Maintain project records.
• Prepare construction progress meeting minutes.
• Review and process contractor’s payment requests.
• Review, track, and follow-up on RFI and submittals.
• Document control.
• Assist with preparation of construction estimates and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Prepare monthly financial reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelors in engineering is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software, including Work and Excel.
