Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting the Office Coordinator in the daily operations of the medical office, including general office duties and patient flow.
Essential Job Duties:
- Job duties could include some or all of the following depending on specific needs of the location:
- Answering phone, checking messages
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Collecting patient payments and required documents
- Room patients including taking weight, medical history
- Patient charts
- Data entry into Nymbl
- Insurance verification
- Ensure exam rooms and waiting rooms are presentable
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications/Work Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience in a medical office environment preferred
- Experience in clerical field required
- Highly customer focused
- Organized, detail oriented, hard working & self motivated with effective time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn other computer programs easily
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to actively engage within the team and be a team player
