- Making outside appointments/referrals accurately and within 1 working days.
- Submitting appropriate paperwork to insurance companies and/or specialist prior to appointment.
- Documents in medical records that referral/authorization/patient appointment has been made.
- Obtains prior approval authorization when needed
- Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the different insurance company's policies and procedures.
- Responds to phone messages the same business day as received.
- Maintains referral logs as needed.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Required: High School Graduate
