JOB SUMMARY
Intermodal Salesperson will be in daily contact with intermodal shippers and BCO’s. Their primary job will be to focus on building strong customer relationships with both existing and new customers. Focus should also be on retaining and expanding current business while also seeking new business opportunities.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination of Export and Import Shipments from A to Z
- Assist customers with the shipment process to include bookings, quotes/rates, tracking/tracing, scheduling pickups, and invoicing
- Provide updates to clients on potential shipment delays in a proactive manner
- Maintain strong relationships with steamship lines, trucking companies, etc.
- Ensure compliance is met at all times for internal and external rules and regulations
- Follow customer established SOPs at all times
- Respond to internal and external emails/requests in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ year of experience in Export Operations preferred
- Basic computer skill (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Interpersonal skills
- Korean bilingual
