Responsibilities
- Preparation of export shipments and distribution of International Export Documents.
- Prepare export shipments for assigned customers. This may include shipping, labeling, and distribution of cargo.
- Prepare export documents for distribution to traffic, CFS and warehouse.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with trucking companies, steamship line and/or other facilities in order to obtain necessary information in order to process shipments in the best way.
- Filing and data entry.
- Issue freight bills and invoices and responsible for collecting unpaid invoices within credit term.
- General business support function as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience.
- Computer proficiency (MS Work, Excel, Lotus Notes, AS/400).
- Some knowledge of general and Export Computer application technology desirable.
- Some knowledge of international commerce (sales and payment term, method, customs regulations etc.) desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications.
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays as necessary.
- Good teamwork skills and inclination
