Export Operations Coordinator
Exports desired qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years’ experience running an export desk
- High level of Customer Service skills and experience
- Understands bookings, shipping instructions and B/L creation
- Clear view and understanding of INCO Terms
- Clear view and understanding of HS codes
- Understands ERD’s, cut offs and sail dates
- Good at dispatching trucks for dray moves
- Professional written communication skills
- Professional verbal communication skills
- Experience handling B/L release (originals, seaway and telex)
- Understands the freight payment process and file calculations
- Can calculate payables and receivables to balance operational files
- Excellent at preventing demurrage, detention, extra fees and charges
- Excellent problem solver when things do no go just right
