This position is under the supervision of the associate dean and primary responsibility is instruction in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. The faculty member is responsible for teaching courses; coordinating fieldwork instruction, including procuring fieldwork sites and managing student fieldwork experiences; designing and developing curriculum; evaluating student performance; advising students, and maintaining office hours.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsThis position requires certification as an Occupational Therapist with current SC licensure or the ability to obtain licensure in SC, bachelor's degree, and a of two (2) years of clinical experience in the field of Occupational Therapy as an Occupational Therapist.
Preferred QualificationsIdeal candidate will have previous teaching experience. Adult experience is desired. Candidate must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
