We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapistat our Fargo campus! This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
What you will do:Occupational Therapists (OT) at the Ranch are continually collaborating within a team consisting of a psychiatrist, psychologists, nurses, therapists, Residential Treatment Specialists, and families, as well as OT counterparts. Occupational Therapists choose to work at the Ranch because it is challenging work that promotes advocacy for clients through transition planning and evaluations. Occupational Therapists build relationships with the kids and see positive changes through building strengths and skills.
Salary Range: $64,500.00 to $80,000.00
Purpose
We utilize evidence-based research and therapeutic use of self to evaluate, plan, and facilitate client-centered care.

- In additional to serving the Ranch's psychiatric residential treatment program (PRTF) and qualified residential treatment program (QRTP), you will have the opportunity to grow clients in pediatric outpatient occupational therapy services through Dakota Family Services.
Caring

- Completion of assessments and evaluations to develop an individualized plan of care to meet the needs of the kids
- Observe and analyze client's participation, reactions, and progress during intervention sessions.
- Engage in occupational therapy intervention sessions with residents, based upon established goals and treatment plans. Intervention may involve teaching new skills, adapting the environment, modifying the components of an activity and education/consulting with appropriate clinical and support staff

- Continue to learn and apply knowledge of sensory integration, emotional regulation, school functioning, self-care and independent living by receiving assistance in obtaining CEUs to maintain licensing and certification.
- Have an ongoing passion to learn and develop understanding of various psychological, social, behavioral, cognitive, cultural, and environmental influences on client engagement in occupation.
Minimum qualifications/education:
- A master's degree in occupational therapy
- Must hold a valid North Dakota Occupational Therapist license or have ability to obtain one.
- Ability to pass a background check including criminal, abuse and motor vehicle
