Under the guidance of the Manager of Rehab Medicine, and level II and III Occupational Therapists, the level I Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of the patient's needs following disability, injury, disease or amputation, to help attain a maximum level of independence and performance. The therapist plans treatment programs and administers modalities and other related procedures, under the prescription of the patient's physician. Treatment will be provided in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. He/she is responsible for documentation and communication of all necessary information to all appropriate parties. The therapist is responsible for care of patients in all patient care areas of OSU Medical Center, as situation requires.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree and/or Post Graduate Degree preferred
Valid OK Occupational Therapy License and BLS required
(New graduates must take the exam within 3 months and receive full licensure within 9 months)
