- POSITION SUMMARY
- The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessment, interpretation and goal development to provide appropriate intervention services designed to assist clients in achieving maximum functional level. This includes providing services according to physician orders, documenting according to policy and providing in-services as necessary and attending continuing education.
Specific IRF duties: Complete FIM scoring with daily documentation, adhere to CMS regulations for INPATIENT REHAB facilities, attend Multidisciplinary Meeting 2x per week, work closely with PT and Speech for scheduling patients and work closely with Nursing staff for carry over of OT goals. Work occasionally in Acute Care, weekend rotation and holiday rotation.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Current ND OT license in good standing required.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) required within 30 days of hire.
