Job Summary:
Performs evaluations of patient strength, range of motion, activities of daily living, and mobility. Provide therapeutic interventions and make recommendations for plan of care.
Per diem coverage for weekends, holiday, and weekly coverage as needed for PTO coverage,
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OT program, required
- Master's degree or Doctorate, preferred
Experience:
- 1 - 2 years clinical experience, preferred
Certification:
- Verification of certification by the NBCOT, required
- Current NJ state license
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates compliance with inpatient billing
- Treats inpatients to meet the established standard of care
- Clearly communicate plan of care and goals to patient/caregivers
- Makes referral recommendations for services outside the discipline
- Participates in the interdisciplinary patient/member teaching process
- Collaborates scheduling of inpatient caseload in conjunction of supervisor
- Demonstrates the ability to identify what the patient/member cultural/educational needs are
- Perform timely and accurate billing and documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Provide education and training on recommendations during course of treatment and for discharge planning
- Supervises as needed

Per Diem Hourly Rate: $62.83
