MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a passionate Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to provide, evaluate, and implement physical therapy services to pediatric clients with a variety of needs based on orders from attending physicians or qualified referral sources following accepted professional practices.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school program of Occupational Therapy
• Currently licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant OTA

Job Duties:

• Evaluates results of occupational therapy by observing, noting, assessing patient’s progress, and implementing adjustments
• Educate and train families about various OT techniques and strategies
• Treat patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function
• Monitor patient's activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and offer encouragement
• Collaborate with the MedCare team to ensure quality care
