Job Title: Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Douglasville, GA
Soliant Health is thrilled to announce a full-time opening for an Occupational Therapist (OT) in partnership with a local School District in Douglasville, GA. We are seeking a passionate and skilled OT to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students. Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and functional goals.
Implement therapeutic activities to enhance students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
Utilize assistive technology and adaptive equipment to support students' participation in the school environment.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
Provide training and support to school staff, as needed.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Georgia state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to special education and therapy services.
Strong munication and collaboration skills.
