Role Overview: As a School-Based Occupational Therapist at Soliant, you will play a pivotal role in providing occupational therapy services to students within a school environment. We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional who is mitted to making a positive impact on students' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student needs.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing goals related to motor coordination, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective intervention strategies.
- Monitor student progress, document therapy sessions, and municate effectively with the school team and caregivers.
- Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of occupational therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
