Form of workPOSITION TITLE:Occupational Therapist for the 2024-2025 School Year
JOB DESCRIPTION: Address the functional needs of an individual as they relate to sensory, motor, postural or emotional development, adaptive behavior, play and the performance of self-help skills. Work to improve, restore or maintain the students functional ability to perform tasks in educational settings. Help to identify special education students to benefit from special education or regular education in the least restrictive environment. Maintain appropriate documentation and submit reports as required; Follows federal and state laws as well as Bartow County Board of Education policies.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: Must hold a current Occupational Therapist license; Training and/or experience working with students with disabilities; Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
