Occupational Therapist Assistant- Cota

Job Description:

The ideal candidate for the Occupational Therapist Assistant Position is a caring and compassionate individual that is dedicated to making a positive impact on their patients lives.

Responsibilities:

• Help patients learn or re-learn Basic ADLs and / or IADLs that are necessary for healthy and meaningful quality of life.
• Teach functional mobility from different surfaces, such as a bed, chair, toilet and shower in order to perform self-care and personal tasks with less difficult
• Provide Comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
• Document patient's progress on a timely manner
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide best patient centered care
• Report to work on time and adhere to AHCA guidelines
• Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a valid professional COTA license for State of Florida
