Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' functional independence and quality of life
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing independence
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in occupational therapy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to provide critical care occupational therapy interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care and case management
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols
- Proficiency in using medical imaging technology for assessment and treatment planning
